Join us at the European Parliament in Brussels on 14 January 2026 to learn how we want to defend that right for everyone in the EU.Building on the approach set out in the S&D position paper Health as a Priority Across All Policies, this event will discuss actions in two key areas: how EU policy making can best tackle the diverse root causes of illness; and, the way forward for guaranteeing equal access to healthcare in the EU.Join S&D President Iratxe García Pérez, S&D vice-president Christophe Clergeau, S&D MEPs, NGOs and other stakeholders in room SPINELLI 3G3 at 14.15 for a discussion on public health as one of the foundations of social justice, democratic stability, and citizens' well-being.⚠️ Important – This event is by invitation, and only registered participants will be admitted.
