ECB - Speech by Isabel Schnabel, Member of the Executive Board of the ECB
We are pleased to invite you to a speech by Ms Isabel Schnabel, Member of the Executive Board of the European Central Bank, on monetary policy and economic growth in a more fragmented world.
Ms Schnabel will deliver the speech at the House of the Euro, Rue de la Science 37, Brussels, on 12 June 2025 at 11:15.
Policymakers are confronting new challenges in a world marked by trade conflict and geopolitical disturbances. As the ECB approaches its inflation target, it faces new shocks influencing both economic activity and inflation. Meanwhile, the evolving geopolitical landscape underscores the urgency of further European integration and structural reforms to boost productivity and foster economic growth.
After the speech, participants will have the opportunity to engage in an exchange of views with Ms Schnabel.
