The event marks the kick-off of the project “Documenting and analysing international crimes committed by the Russia’s armed forces after 24.02.2022”, aimed at helping victims of these war crimes and informing the wider public about ongoing violations of international humanitarian law.

During the discussion, a new report on torture of Ukrainian prisoners of war in detention facilities of the Russian Federation, prepared by the Kharkiv Human Rights Protection Group, will be presented and commented by experts and practitioners.

The event will be moderated by Mr Thijs REUTEN.
