The Centre has been established on the outskirts of Gallipoli with the aim of strengthening prevention, research, and cancer care, offering free services for early diagnosis, environmental monitoring, psychological support, and scientific outreach.This event aims to highlight a concrete and positive initiative capable of bringing together local communities, civil society, and European institutions in the promotion of health and prevention. The ILMA Centre represents a model of excellence in cancer prevention and care that can inspire similar initiatives across Europe, strengthening the fight against breast cancer through community engagement and institutional support.
