World Bee Day celebrates the vital role of bees in our ecosystems.
Join us for a delicious breakfast featuring over six varieties of Slovenian honey, and hear from:
- Andras Tivadar Kulja, Vice-Chair of the ENVI Committee
- Boštjan Noč, President of the European Beekeeping Association and the Slovenian Beekeepers' Association
With half of the honey on the EU market being counterfeit, urgent action is needed – including stricter border controls and a ban on imports from the most problematic origins.
Bees are crucial for pollination, biodiversity, and food security – but they depend on beekeepers to survive.
