80 Years of History, 80 Years of ANSA: From the Treaties of Rome to Artificial Intelligence - Images That Tell the Story of a Changing World and Europe
Tuesday, 8 July 2025, at 12:30 p.m.
European Parliament in Strasbourg
WEISS Building, 1st floor, "Emilio Colombo" Area
Hosted by Antonella Sberna, Vice President of the European Parliament
The photographic collection was first presented at the MAXXI Museum in Rome last January. Together with ANSA, we have selected some of the most representative images — a visual journey through the key events and transformations that have shaped the history of Europe and the world, as documented by one of the most authoritative international news agencies.
This is a unique opportunity for reflection, remembrance, and a forward-looking perspective, retracing eighty years of Italian and European history, told day by day.
Organized on the occasion of ANSA's 80th anniversary, the event also serves as a valuable moment to reflect on the role of information in the European integration process — from the Treaties of Rome to today's challenges of digital transition and the rise of artificial intelligence.
