Civic Pulse: Connecting MEPs and EU Civil SocietyAt the start of the new policy cycle, Civil Society Europe and Social Platform are organising ‘Civic Pulse’, a networking event bringing together MEPs and EU civil society to foster collaboration between policymakers and civil society and to discuss the establishment of an interest group on civil society.Event DetailsWhen: Tuesday, 19 November 2024 | 18:00 – 20:00Where: European Parliament, Brussels, Culina Mundi Event Area (SPINELLI Zone E)Over the past months, more than 100 elected MEPs and political leaders have committed to strengthening the EU's relationship with civil society by signing the Civil Society for EU (CS4EU) campaign pledge. European Parliament President Roberta Metsola has also tasked Vice-Presidents Katarina Barley and Nicolae Ștefănuță with managing relations with European civil society organisations.This event, co-hosted by EP Vice-President Katarina Barley (S&D), provides a unique platform for key representatives of EU civil society to connect with MEPs, APAs, and political group advisors to discuss issues vital to civil society.AgendaThe event will start with a policy debate, followed by an informal networking reception with food and drinks.RegistrationPlease register by 13 November 2024.Note that registration does not guarantee a spot.
