This event will focus on dairy welfare, specifically on the issue of tethering. Scientific research has proven that tethering restricts movement and causes suffering. Despite this, it remains a common practice in several Member States, including Germany. This discussion will bring together key stakeholders from both governmental and non-governmental sectors to address challenges and explore solutions to end this cruel practice across the EU.
