"Agriculture as a Key Driver for Competitive Circular Biobased Societies"

This event will explore agriculture's pivotal role in fostering sustainable, biobased futures in alignment with the EU's strategic priorities. With the EU's new Commission identifying biotechnology as a cornerstone of Europe's sustainable growth, this meeting will bridge the innovation gap by convening experts, industry leaders, societal organizations, and policymakers. Topics will include the Vision for Agriculture and Food, updates to the EU Bioeconomy Strategy, and the Biotech Act. Concrete recommendations and real-world cases will support agriculture's sustainable green transition, creating better opportunities for EU farmers.
