Join us for the Herd Protection Days taking place from 24-25 October 2024 in Salern, South Tyrol. This event is part of the EU-LIFE project LIFEstockProtect and focuses on shepherds and their work with livestock.

The Herd Protection Days will cover important topics such as:
- Job requirements for shepherds
- Animal health
- Implementation of herd protection measures
- Livestock guardian dogs, including breeding and working methods
- Guided grazing and contract nature conservation
The conference will offer a mix of:
- Lectures
- Information booths
- Practical demonstrations in the field
Experience exchange and participant reports will be integral to the event, allowing attendees to network and share knowledge. All speakers are practitioners who run their own operations or keep animals themselves.
